Description
This position is responsible for the prompt and accurate handling of all accounts payable, bookkeeping and related areas. Provides clerical support related to meeting the financial obligations of the organization. Clarifies questionable items, prices or signatures; obtains proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments. The incumbent works with other members of the Department in meeting department goals and objectives.
General Requirements & Skills
- Associates Degree in Business or Accounting
- Two (2) - three (3) years’ experience processing high volume accounts payable
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of office products with an emphasis on Excel and Access and spreadsheet creation and maintenance
- Must be highly organized and possess good communication skills
- Must be highly confidential at all times and act as a team player
- Must be flexible to work on multiple tasks and pay attention to detail
- Must be able to learn new skills and deal with constant change
