Job Description

Seeking Electrical Assemblers to build refrigeration equipment for containers. This position provides support for assembling and making electrical connections on refrigeration unit frames and installing components such as coils, compressors, motors, blowers, control boxes, and fans into the frames. The position requires an individual to follow established work instructions on a wide variety of units. The Assemblers will take direction from supervisors, work cooperatively with co-workers, and demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to quality of work. Must pass pre-employment background and drug screenings. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be detail-oriented and able to read and interpret documents such as assembly drawings, work instructions, and safety rules. Experience in electrical assembly of refrigeration components preferred. Requires experience with basic hand tools and mechanical assembly work along with a high school diploma or GED.

The standard work schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., M-F.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install refrigeration system components such as compressors, motors, blowers, fans, coils, electric components and associated wiring, support braces, and other brackets.

• Apply caulk, foam, and Sikaflex as necessary to assemblies.

• Assemble and wire control boxes and other electrical components as required.
• Maintain a high level of workplace organization.

• Complete unit traveler paperwork.

• Work with Supervisor and others to develop work instructions and procedures.

• Meet customers' product quality requirements. Report any product quality issues.

• Strict adherence to Quality manual and standards, safety and corporate policies, standards rules of Conduct and procedures.

• Contribute to continuous improvement.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Perform any related functions as required.
