Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in sales and business development within the logistics and supply chain industry. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities, building relationships, and supporting the sales team to achieve revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prospect and Qualify Leads: Identify potential clients through research, outbound calls, emails, and social media engagement.

· Lead Generation: Schedule meetings and demos for senior sales representatives by engaging decision-makers and understanding their business needs.

· CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.

· Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and Nexterus solutions to effectively communicate value propositions.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns and improve lead conversion rates.

· Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity targets, including calls, emails, and qualified opportunities.

General Requirements & Skills

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

· Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
