The Homemaker is responsible for performing the essential functions necessary to deliver a high standard of cleanliness to all Assisted Living residents to ensure maintenance of dignity and respect.The Homemaker is a vital team member in the facilitation and engagement of residents to ensure quality of life.

Your Experience Includes

A high school diploma or equivalent normally required

1. Ability to read, speak, and understand English
2. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
3. Knowledge of multiple cleaning agents and laundry operations
4. One year of experience in a similar position normally required
5. Driver’s license normally required

Household Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing laundry duties to provide clean and sanitary laundry in accordance with established procedures to ensure proper infection and disease control
• At times, responsible for performing cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary, orderly, safe and attractive living environment in accordance with established procedures to ensure proper infection and disease control
• Supports, cooperates with and participates in the adherence to all SpiriTrust Lutheran standards, procedures and practices in completion of laundry services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and overall safety
• Communicates and collaborates as a vital part of the neighborhood care team in an effort to support overall person-centered care and quality of life for residents
