SUMMARY:

Responsible for the cleanliness of hotel guest rooms in adherence to franchise and corporate policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Cleans all assigned guest rooms according o prescribed guidelines, ensuring that the guest room
is in compliance with standard room set up.
Reports “lost and found” items to the Director of Housekeeping. Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies. Maintains an inventory of items placed in the guest rooms. Responsible for using only hotel issued cleaning products.
Responsible for communication finished assignments to supervisor.
Must wear required uniforms. Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLIITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our simple on or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
TRAINING NEEDS:
Training in providing quality guest service, training in the hotel’s housekeeping policies and procedures.
