RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing low voltage cable (Cat 5e, 5, & 6A, speaker wire, access control wire, etc.)
• Installing fiber optic cable
• Termination, testing, troubleshooting of all cabling listed above.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, and vendors representing TeleCom Business Solutions, Inc. with respect and integrity.
• Submitting daily work reports and time entries including updates and details about the work performed and the status of projects.
• Leave each job site clean and organized at the end of each day and the completion of each project.
• Perform work in a neat and a high attention to detail manner.

SKILLS

• Experience or familiarity with Structured Cabling
• Must have a good attitude.
• Ability to consistently arrive at job sites on time.
• Ability to work well with coworkers and customers.
• Able to lift over 50 pounds.
• Physically fit enough to carry materials and hardware, climb ladders, and work on your feet for long hours at any given time
• Capable of bending, lifting, crouching, and leaning over for long periods of time.
• Ability to work from heights, such as ladders, man-lifts, scissor lifts, and roof tops (utilizing proper fall protection)
• Ability to work varying shifts/hours in coordination with project requirements.
• Ability to work in various locations within the south-central PA area.
• Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Addition experience with video surveillance, access control, wi-fi, and telephone systems is a plus.
• Must have a valid PA driver’s license.

EDUCATION LEVEL

High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED)
