Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel lobby and public areas in adherence with hotel standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Responsible for vacuuming/sweeping the hotel lobby area. Responsible for the maintenance of carpet and surface areas. Responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel driveway.
Cleans and dusts all fixtures in the hotel lobby, all public areas and office areas. Responsible for the cleanliness of the guest elevators.
Maintains the cleanliness of public bathrooms and Fitness Center.
Responsible for the cleanliness of Executive Offices.
Must wear required uniforms. Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLIITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our simple on or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
TRAINING NEEDS:
Training in providing quality guest service, training in the hotel’s housekeeping policies and procedures.
