Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for accurately managing consumer loan and residential real estate loan documentation through our established systems, reviewing files to ensure completion in full and compliance with current banking regulations and policies. Perform a variety of support duties related to the lending functions within the credit union.
General Requirements & Skills
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review new loan files through check listing to ensure all required documents are present and accurately signed. Verifying documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures.
- Print New Loan Report daily and track that new loans have been received for processing.
- Print missing title report weekly and track the status of all missing titles.
- Instrumental in ensuring insurance policies on collateral held by the credit union are current.
- Facilitates the funding of loans into the credit union from Indirect Lending sources.
- Verifies, maintains completion, and annually submits HMDA Loan Application Register.
- Maintain accurate and complete files and records.
- Assist the Collector as directed.
- Print paid loan reports daily, retrieve paid loan files to be processed. Complete all documents that are necessary to close the file, (this will include satisfaction pieces for real estate loans, releasing titles on vehicle loans, and preparing paid loan file for scanning.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously. Answer questions, provide information, and/or route calls to appropriate personnel. Review all voice mail messages and coordinate follow through.
- Assist Loan Officers as directed.
- Submit weekly report with progress on check listing to Lending & Operations VP.
- Responsible for preparing mortgages and satisfactions pieces to be recorded electronically.
- Responsible for requesting and reviewing bring-downs for mortgages.
- Create and upload credit reports to the Credit Bureau monthly.
Experience:
- Loan/Lending background preferred
- Knowledge of PA vehicle titling preferred
