Join Community Services Group (CSG), a Certified B Corporation, as a Mental Health Professional for our Adult Mental Health Services Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR) Program in Spring Grove, PA and find meaning in your work every day. Hiring immediately for this position.

This position offers:

  • A $2,000.00 Sign-On-Bonus for Full-Time & $500.00 Sign-On-Bonus for PRN. The $2,000.00 or $500.00 will be paid after the successful completion of the 6-month initial evaluation period.
  • Starting at $23.50 per hour.
  • Full-Time (40 hours/week) or PRN Flexible Hours. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.

As a Mental Health Professional (MHP), you will be responsible for fostering independent living skills in individuals who have a mental health diagnosis. You will work with staff in implementing individual and group programming. In addition, you will provide responsible care to individuals in the program and will be responsible for the routine operation of the location while on duty. As an MHP, you will serve a role in the clinical aspects of the individual's recovery process. You will also:

  • Ensure the individual's health, safety, and welfare by monitoring their physical health and psychiatric health needs.
  • Enhance the quality of the individuals' lives and their integration into the community by supporting established goals, and community integration.
  • Develop and implement program plans designed to enhance the individual's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and independent living skills.
  • Develop and facilitate individual and group sessions.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly records i.e., treatment plans, reports, logs, and other documentations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members, individual's families, involved agencies, and the community in providing required relevant information.
  • The MHP serves as a member of the treatment/service team.
  • Perform and assist in tasks to ensure the effective daily operation of the Individuals and program i.e. program scheduling, providing technical assistance to direct care advisors.
  • Provide crisis management, intervention, and is on-call as assigned.
  • Develop and implement treatment/supportive interventions.
  • Provide coverage in emergency situations.
  • Willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
  • Commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

About the Program:

  • An LTSR is a highly structured therapeutic residential mental health treatment facility designed to serve persons 18 years of age or older who are eligible for hospitalization but who can receive adequate care in an LTSR.

General Requirements & Skills

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline from an accredited college or university and 1 year of mental health clinical experience (if the profession is governed by a licensing board in Pennsylvania then the employee shall be registered, licensed or certified to practice in that profession).
  • Able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
  • Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
  • Ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
  • Able to be on-call for program as scheduled.
