Job Summary:

Quote and order tooling per design specifications.  Ensure tooling accuracy on arrival and address related issues.

Essential Job Functions:

• Quote production tooling while working closely with Estimating
• Evaluate production layouts and delivery timing by attending New Item Meetings
• Order tooling and evaluate accuracy upon arrival
• Prepare files for printing plate orders as well as Digital, Litho and Top Sheet orders
• Reorder plates when worn or damaged
• Closely monitor vendor performance and report quarterly
• Responsible for checking electronic orders daily for print specifications

Other Functions:

• •  Review proofs and press sheets for Flexo printing, Digital, Litho and Top Sheet orders

Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 5 years corrugated design and production experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail

Machines/Tools/Equipment:

• Mac and PC computer systems
• Artios Cad and Adobe Creative suite
• Kongsberg XL 44 cutting and drafting table
• Epson P9000 color accurate plotter
• Vertical lift for tooling inspection

Working Conditions:

Primarily an office environment with regular exposure to a loud manufacturing environment
