JOB SUMMARY:

Candidates wishing to be considered for the Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisor position must be LICENSED REGISTERED NURSES in the state of PA . Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisor candidates must have prior Supervisory experience , as well as prior experience working within a Healthcare or Nursing & Rehabilitation setting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors will oversee the Management of Resident Care, Nursing Staff, and general operations.
Supervise the facilitation of Health Care Services, including all aspects of safety, building security, and Staff/Nursing Staff Management.
Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors will provide Nursing Care to Residents as needed.
Provide management of Nursing Care provided to Residents.
Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors will participate in the Nursing responsibilities of their Shift, maintaining all Medical Records and Reporting.
Record and monitor all progress of Residents in treatment, communicating any issues in progress/changes to appropriate Medical Staff members.
Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors will act as a liaison for Physicians, Nurses, and Families of Residents.
Participate in the development, revision, and accuracy of Individualized Care Plans.
Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors will ensure that all medications and treatments are administered and ordered in a timely fashion according to chart.
Monitor work of Nursing Care provided, ensuring all Nursing assignments are being completed.
Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors will monitor personal and Nursing Staff compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained at all times.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned to the Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must be LICENSED REGISTERED NURSES in the state of PA .
Ideal Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Supervisors will have experience in Geriatric Care, care of the chronically ill, restorative Nursing, Unit Management, and Quality Assurance .
Must have SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE , ideally within a Healthcare or Nursing & Rehabilitation setting.
Must be able to Lead and inspire others.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a Team atmosphere is required.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment.
