Job Description:

Receive list of parts to be picked for a particular job from warehouse coordinator – list contains part number and description of part as well as location and quantity of part to be picked. Candidate will gather quantity of parts on list, tape, box, or bundle parts together, label bundle or box of parts with part number, quantity, and job number and then go to next item on list and repeat.

Performance of duties is probably 4-5 miles a day of walking the warehouse, lifting to 60lbs max, reaching shoulder high or bending to floor level for parts. A forklift license is not required as most parts are gathered on a pushcart and brought back to a job staging area on cart or lowered by another on a forklift to gather parts required. Candidate must be able to read and write English, write legibly for others to read, and have good attention to detail for part number retention, and able to organize work and keep the picks organized.

Prior warehouse picking experience in a manufacturing facility would be great.
