Description
Ben Druck Door Company is currently seeking Commercial door technicians. [OVERHEAD USES TECHNICIANS AND TRAINEES]]] Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy hard work, have a record of responsible attendance, and desire to be an integral part of a winning team? Then consider joining our team of professional installers of large over-head and coiling type doors. Let us train you in numerous advanced trade skills that will make you a valuable, respected employee and reliable wage earner for your family. Pay ranges from $13-$25+ per hour.
Some of the skills you will learn include standard construction practices, welding, steel fabrication of all types, equipment operation, masonry fastening, electrical control wiring and electrical set-up of highly specialized doors.
You will be trained in safe working practices on all terrain forklifts, scissors lifts, service truck and trailer driving as well as personal protection from falls and environment. This career position will be responsible for assembly and installation of Commercial-Industrial doors, coiling doors and loading dock equipment. This is a full time hourly position and is based out of our York, PA office.

General Requirements & Skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED is required
Be 18 years old at the time of application
Be a US citizen or be entitled to work in the USA
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to pass a government security clearance test
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds from ground level to waist level and up to 30 pounds to above shoulder level throughout a scheduled work shift
Must be able to climb ladders
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and crawl
Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather
Must be willing to use safety equipment
Must be able to use power tools and fastening systems
Ability for light fabrication and modification of products
