Development Assistant

New Hope Ministries, a respected Christian social service agency seeks dedicated individual to support its development department and our director of development. We're looking for highly organized and accurate individuals to be part of a fun office environment and an organization making a real difference in our community. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented with excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills, especially in the area of fast and accurate data entry, should be experienced with MS Word and Excel as well as web-based platforms, and have the desire to share the love of Christ by helping our neighbors in need.

The following duties comprise 50% of this position's work: inputting donations into organization's donor database, producing gift receipts, report generation, and coordinating mailings. This second part of this position will involve interaction with donors, coordinating and reporting grant activities, special event support, assisting with other administrative activities, and being an integral part of a development team that stewards an organizational culture of philanthropy.

The position is considered full-time, hourly, non-exempt, and would receive expected annual compensation of $38,000. New Hope is open to considering both part-time or full-time candidates to fulfill the various described duties.
