The Shadowfax Corporation is a private, non-profit human services agency that supports individuals with disabilities. - $1,500 Sign-on Bonus, $750 paid upon successful completion of the 90-day introductory period and then $750 paid after 6 months; must be hired before 10/30/2023. Former staff must be separated for at least 6 months to be eligible for the sign on bonus
- Salary commensurate with experience and education
- The Financial Controller upholds the financial integrity of the corporation, maintains confidentiality, and complies with the financial department’s internal controls and compliance risk management systems.
- Some of the job duties will include:
- Management of General Ledger
- Responsible for budgetary issues
- Internal control and compliance checks for accuracy
- Responsible for budgetary issues
- Report financial status for monthly statements
- Acting as a liaison with families, providers, etc.
- Assist the accountants with the annual audit
- Management of Finance for staff members
General Requirements & Skills
- Minimum Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Preferred Master’s degree
- Non-profit experience is required
