Description
Children's Aid Society is seeking driven and compassionate Art Therapists to provide full-cycle child art therapy. The Art Therapist will assess clients and develop therapeutic relationships through artistic expression.
You Will:
- Provide full-cycle, individual, child-centered creative art therapy including the assessment of the client's mental and behavioral health.
- Complete new client intake sessions, develop individual client goals, and provide ongoing assessments and therapy using art therapy techniques
- Assist in facilitating weekly Incredible Years' program for parents and caregivers in-person and/or virtually
- Complete comprehensive clinical documentation using electronic health records

General Requirements & Skills
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Art Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Art Therapy board certified or eligible (ATR or ATR-BC)
- Certificated Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania or eligible (LPC)
- Two years' experience of comprehensive clinical documentation; excellent organizational skills
- Experience using electronic health record systems like Therapy Notes or similar
