Transportation Coordinator

New Hope Ministries, a respected Christian Social Service agency seeks a dedicated individual to serve as our Transportation Coordinator. This person will be responsible for overseeing our agency vehicles, forklifts, transportation training programs, vehicle donation program, and DOT registrations. Our agency serves a population of low income people who are limited by a lack of affordable and reliable transportation. We anticipate at least half of this position's responsibilities will involve helping working families obtain and maintain reliable transportation through vehicle repair, second-chance financing, vehicle donations, and other creative strategies.

Applicants should possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record, experience with vehicle maintenance, the ability to operate a box truck, and have the desire to share the love of Christ by helping our neighbors in need. The ideal candidate would have a background in auto repair and auto sales, and have contacts in the automotive industry. Candidates should also possess financial and computer skills as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
