Mark your calendar! The next York Hiring & Resource Fairs will be held at WellSpan Park from 3:00-5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26. These events will connect job seekers to dozens of employers from various industries as well as resource organizations to support job seekers in their career pathway.
Job seekers in attendance were given a program which details employers that will hire candidates with criminal histories on a case-by-case basis, employers who can hire and onboard candidates who speak Spanish, and employers who offer internship/employment opportunities for high school students or Veterans. Interpreter services are available in Spanish and Haitian Creole.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR – We’re partnering with PA CareerLink to host a Talent Clinic directly before the event, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, for job seekers to receive support with employment readiness, interviewing tips, and career guidance.
