Description

The Acquisitions Manager will oversee new store acquisitions by driving and refining our acquisitions processes. Partnering with multiple departments to ensure their tasks are complete, and being on site to ensure our Moove In experience is executed from day one. The role will be located in at our corporate office in, York, PA and will require as much 50% travel. The Acquisitions Manager will represent our company with a positive attitude, willingness to help tenants and customers and the eagerness to learn and do your best every day while presenting yourself in a professional manner at all times.
There are three aspects to this role; pre acquisition support, post acquisition support, administrative support:
Pre-acquisition support will include:

  • Communicate effectively to multiple departments to ensure onboarding tasks are being completed on time.
  • Travel and take part in due diligence process
  • Onboard and set up vendor accounts.
  • Efficiently enter accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and actions taken.
  • Achieve productivity standards and goals set by the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Post-acquisition support will include:

  • Travel to the acquisition site and stay in the area until the store is operating at the Moove in standard.
  • Work with the Operations team to confirm technology, vendors and people are operating as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Administrative support will include:

  • Assist the corporate office in day to day tasks and planning.
  • Continually refine the acquisitions checklist to improve the process.
  • Work local stores periodically to stay up to date on changes to policies and procedures.

Experience:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • 1-3 years of experience in acquisitions is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher and Word.

General Requirements & Skills

Must be able to travel 50% or more

Self motivation is required
