Position: Field Foremen

Job Description:  seeking highly motivated individuals who can work with little supervision to lead a small crew of employees.  We specializes in the Agricultural/Industrial field.  We do a wide variety of Millwrighting and Welding/Fabricating at various sites both local and abroad.  We typically have enough work to keep busy through the winter months and have not had any layoffs in recent years.

Qualified individuals will start as a welder/field helper with the intention of working into a foreman position.  Foremen receive a company provided vehicle to be used for on duty activities along with a company provided cell phone.  Foremen are expected to work directly with the Project Manager to complete jobs.  He/she must communicate with the Project Manager and the other employees on the job site.  Foremen are responsible to relay any information pertaining to the project such as materials that are needed for the job, calling off equipment rentals for the job, equipment malfunctions, etc.  Foremen are expected to present themselves, their helpers, and the jobsite in a professional and responsible manner to our customers.

Applicants must have an extensive background and knowledge of Millwrighting and Welding.  Applicants need to have leadership skills and be willing to teach processes to any new hires along with employees who have tenure with the company.  Applicants must maintain a positive attitude and a solid work ethic.  Applicants must not be afraid of heights and willing to climb up and down ladders multiple times.  Applicants must have a strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety guidelines in the construction/Industrial Industries and will be expected to uphold and enforce safety policies.  Applicants must be willing to travel and work out of town with extensive weekly overtime most weeks.  Occasionally there will be weekend shutdown work which comes with additional compensation.  Hotels are paid for and employees staying out of town receive per diem pay in his/her paycheck for the pay period.  Looking for long term employees who take care of the company so in turn we can take care of our employees.
