Description
Administrative Assistant to Attorneys responsible for typing a variety of legal documents, such as agreements, complaints, subpoenas, motions and briefs, in addition to standard office correspondence. Maintain legal files, both electronic and physical, and assist the attorney in the organization of his/her caseload. Scan and save documents into appropriate document management location.
Administrative Assistants field phone calls, schedule appointments, maintain files and perform other duties related to administrative responsibilities. They interact with clients, attorneys, office staff, opposing counsel and vendors.

- Detail oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of computers, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment.
- Proficiency in software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Knowledge with local state and federal court filing rules, basic legal procedures and legal terminology.
- Proficiency in dictation transcription and speed writing.
- Excellent Proofreading skills are essential.
